The board of the Estonian Bar Association revived the honorary title Attorney of the Year and attributed this to attorneys at law in three different categories. In the organisation category the honorary title was attributed to Urmas Ustav, Attorney at Law and partner of LEXTAL Law Firm.
“The profession of an attorney is programmed to deal with complex matters that sets high demands and puts on test one´s personal qualities. In addition to education and experience, it is essential to have professional commitment and this is what we want to recognize with the honorary title Attorney of the Year. The winners have demonstrated outstanding performance in their fields, “said Mr Sten Luiga, the Chairman of Estonian Bar Association.
Attorney at Law Urmas Ustav has demonstrated a high level of professionalism in his activities, as a chairman of Qualification Committee in Estonian Bar Association he has leaded the reform of the bar examination with the aim to raise the qualification of those applying either to work as Assistant Attorneys or Attorneys at Law. In his duty as Chairman of the Committee, Urmas Ustav has demonstrated the utmost commitment to the Estonian Bar Association as an organization.
