Applicable law and competent court
Dutch law applies to the Website and the use thereof. The court in Arnhem, the Netherlands is exclusively competent to decide on any disputes with Dirkzwager arising from the use of the Website and/or in relation to the information derived from it.

The Website and/or electronic newsletters provide general information on legal and factual topics. The information on the Website and/or in the electronic newsletters is posted by and in the name of the individual law firms affiliated with the international network of law firms mentioned. This information does not aim to provide any legal advice for concrete situations. The information shown on the Website and/or in the electronic newsletters has been put together with the utmost care by the relevant firms, but no guarantee can be given with regard to its accuracy and completeness.

Exoneration of liability
Dirkzwager accepts no liability whatsoever for the accuracy and completeness of the information included on the Website and/or in the electronic newsletters.

References to other websites
References to other websites are purely included for users’ information. Dirkzwager can give no guarantees for the content or performance of these websites or for the quality of any products and/or services offered on them.

Content of Website and newsletter purely for personal use
The user of the Website and/or recipient of the electronic newsletters is not permitted to reproduce, distribute, disseminate or provide to third parties in exchange for payment or for any other commercial purpose the content of the Website or the electronic newsletters without the explicit written permission of Dirkzwager.

Report of wrongful information
If you feel that the information on the website is wrongful towards you and you therefore wish to have the information removed from the website, you can notify Dirkzwager of this, giving the reasons why you find it wrongful and your full contact details. Dirkzwager will forward this notification to the relevant firm which posted the information on the website, which will handle the matter from there.


The Website is the property of and is managed by Dirkzwager. Dirkzwager respects the privacy of all the users of its website and ensures that any personal information you may provide to it is treated confidentially and in accordance with the Dutch Personal Data Protection Act, based on the European Privacy Directive 95/46EC.
Processing of personal data
When visiting the Website, a number of technical data are automatically sent by your computer to the computers of Dirkzwager or its sub-contractors, such as the IP address you are using, the operating system, the internet browser you are using and (in some cases) the last internet page you visited. Purposes of processing
The personal data you provide are exclusively used for the following purposes:

Electronic newsletters
You can register via the Website as a subscriber to one or more of the electronic newsletters sent by Dirkzwager via the Website. Registration takes place via what is called a double opt-in process, which means that you only become listed as a subscriber if you follow the instructions sent to you by e-mail after registering via the Website. At the bottom of every newsletter you will find a hyperlink which enables you to easily cancel your receipt of the newsletter.

Use of Google Analytics
This Website uses Google Analytics, a web-analysis service provided by Google Inc. (hereafter: ‘Google’).
